Best "Real Life" Practice to recreate exchange 2007 mailbox(es)
I have a few mailboxes which seem to have been migrated through Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003 and now to 2007. These older ones seem to have a common issue whereby when they have delegate permissions to a colleague who then leaves and has their AD and mailbox deleted they are still trying to send meetings to these gone delegates. I have followed various methods to fix this issue with no luck (removing the delegate, adding and removing all delegates, using ADSIEdit etc).
So I have decided it would be quicker to copy all the email files to a brand new mailbox. Does anyone have an easy or proven solution to this? Exporting to PST and importing to the new mailbox is my current thinking... Hope there is an easier option I have missed...
I could have as many as 50 to recreate so looking for the least amount of admin work possible...

Hello,This is quite simple to get rid of the corrupted delegate rules using MFCMapi. Follow the below article. How to delete corrupted and hidden rules from a single mailbox in Outlook 2003http://support.microsoft.com/kb/924297Arun Kumar | MCSE - 2K3 + Messaging | ITIL-F V3

Hi, I will try this over the coming days and report back it it was successful. It seems similar to a previous solution, but I will try it none the less as this could save me exporting and re-importing each users mailbox. I will report back next week.
